Well, between Yesterday and today I was able to get quite a bit done.  The Sink mounted to the wall.  The plumbing all connected.  The Mirror Hung.  My finger smashed... OK.  So the last thing I updated for you was the Hole got patched.  Well, that was Sunday night.  Monday, I sanded it down and put an additional coat of Joint Compound on the walls.  Tuesday, I came home from work and did the same thing.  Only I hoped this would be the last coat.  Wednesday I got up and sanded down the walls.  To tell you the truth ( Read more... )

I have for years wanted a Deadbolt on this door.  It's hard to believe it, but the door is actually white - the light bulb makes it look Beige.  I have been to scared to put one in because It didn't already have a deadbolt hole in the door and I would have to drill it and the latch in the door jam.  Well, I decided to go for it yesterday.  Ok.  I ( Read more... )

From the time I returned from Going Coastal (November 2011) till she passed in June...  The ottomans.  The over-sized, leftover from the 80's, gifts from Roxanne... ottomans.  Are now the recovered, reupholstered coffee table / ottomans.
