My friends are hilarious.

Today was very FUN.

This morning I worked on my graduation album/scrapbook. (It's an album, but the pages are those sticky pages so I get to crop and arrange the photos, but I'm not making it into a big craft, so it's not quite a scrapbook either). I did Senior Dinner, Baccalaureate, Phi Beta Kappa, and started Graduation. It was fun cause Sammie was working on her book for Izzy. She covers notebook covers with funny words and phrases cut out from magazines. I like that she does that cause I know she got the idea from all the podging Jamie and I used to do. Ah, memories. I hope I get to spend a good amount of time with Sammie before I move away from my family.
(*sad)

Later I needed to get all my immunization records and tests straightened out and went down to Conifer Medical Center. I love driving to Conifer, (a) because it's beautiful, and (b) I get to pass hilarious road names like Centaur and Alabraska. Hah. Anyway, it took them way too long to figure out who could/should fill out and sign my forms, and whether they needed to pull my file, etc. But eventually we worked it out, and I didn't need any immunizations or boosters(yay) and just got a quick TB test, which I have to have check on Saturday.

In the evening I met Dave and Mickey Bakas for Jamba Juice, (they changed their menu - boo - but luckily they let you order old things from the menu) and chatted. I don't think I've actually talked to Mickey since high school so that was fun, and Dave is ALWAYS a hoot. Then we met Steven, got food, and went over to RED ROCKS for Film on the Rocks!!!!!! Fun. Mickey met Natalie there, and Steve met Jenna, and we all met Ashley and Sam, so we had a GREAT group to watch LABYRINTH with. Yes, Me, Dave, Ashely, Steve, Jenna Plante, Mickey, Natalie Kruger, and Sam Anderson all watching David Bowie dance, sing, and sport an absurd package. What a recipe for successful night! I laughed VERY HARD (sorry for all the caps in this entry) with my friends.

I think the coolest thing at Red Rocks was the opening band, Loki something ("I think it's a Norwegian god of... mischeif" - Dave) that Dave's friend is the lead singer for. They had this awesome sound, with a weird hint of circus music, that they totally played into in their show because it was complete with 2 acrobats and a fire blower. It was a treat for the eyes and ears! (MUCH better than the weird too-long opening act with the 70's go go dancers... what was that?)

Anyway, we laughed so so hard making comments about Labyrinth. (Sometimes that movie gets boringly long, like during the goblin/rocks fight, so we very enjoyed commenting.) My, David is so amazingly clever and funny, Steve is insane of course, and I never knew Jenna was so much fun. I wish Ashley hadn't sat so far from me. I want to be sure to hang out with her one more time before she heads for the Marshall Islands for two years! And I hope she gets me an address there to mail her stuff.

My favorite part of the night (which was of course hard to top) was when Steven, David and I got back to Denver West, and decided to grab some Wendy's. We sat outside at Einstein's by the fountain, and talked for like 2 hours. Oh my gosh that was a good time. We just talked nonstop! I think that's what I love about those guys, and my highschool friends in general, it's always easy to just keep talking - and such interesting conversation!!!! Love it. I'll have to keep in touch with them too. Though, I doubt that'll be a problem; it hasn't been in the last 4 years anyway.

So much to do tomorrow! Gotta start checking things off my list. Less than 2 weeks left, and so many check marks to make!

PS - we're bringing the words "ergo," and "hence" into everyday vocabulary, and if that's successful, also "thence" and "whence." Haha. Oh. And we want to learn more about the word "sidle." I think one of my favorite parts about having conversations with Dave and Steve in particular, is that they each have such extraordinary vocabularies. ("Hence" does not count; that's not what I'm talking about.) I don't know why, but conversations full of great, rich vocabulary satisfy and excite me.
