Wanna join our dance crew?
Today was productive. In the morning I got my transcript sent to SLU so they know that I did indeed graduate and receive my B.A., got an appointment to get some shots tomorrow (why do I need another TB test again?), searched for banks in St. Louis, and decided to open a usbank account since there's one on Lindell Blvd. Since there's a branch in Evergreen, I went over and opened a checking account and deposited all my Mount Vernon Bank and Trust money. Woohoo!
Then I ran some errands at Wal-Mart, and I got a huge photo album for my 400+ greece pictures. FINALLY! I watched TV with Sammie and organized all the photos by day, and then put them into the huge huge album. Her eye is bothering her, but the swelling is going down and her face is really looking like her face again, which is great.
In the evening Sammie, Mom, and I all ate way too many snacks and watched Step Up 2. Now I had many issues with the plot, but it made me want to dance again. I mean, in the 40s swing was just like this style of dancing, what the cool black kids did in their clubs. Hellzapoppin anyone? It's a cool idea. Anyway, we laughed so hard watching movies the way WE watch movies, (criticizing the characters' physical flaws, and guessing what animals or other people they look like) and in our joking, we decided to form our own dance crew, which we laughed about for a very long time deciding who would be in it - the members got funnier and funnier. Should be a dorkin' crew. Haha! Then with freeze pops, we watched some of Goldmember on TBS. fun family night.
ugh, shots tomorrow. I hate shots. Hopefully I just have to get the one.
