Yogurt and Yoga

I've been feeling so GOOD this summer once I finally got over being sick! I'm getting an amazing amount of sleep (probably WAY too much, but hey, it's summer), my mom keeps lots of healthy food in the house so I've been eating lots of small healthy snacks throughout the day (like, at 11am, 2pm, 5pm, 7pm, and 10pm usually) rather than any big meals. Like today I had a Carnation and toast at 9, a bowl of yogurt at noon, a marinated half chicken breast at 2:30, and a banana and little yogurt at 5:40.

I've been eating a LOT of yogurt, which makes me feel very good. I switch between the delicious berry yoplaits, and Oikos, which is my new favorite thing in the WORLD. Thank you King Soopers, for finally delivering me a genuinely thick greek yogurt, rather than that kind I bought at Big Creek Market that was only thick because of added chemical thickeners. That's gross, and it was grainy. But this is delicious, especially with sweet sweet honey. A year later, and I'm still obsessed with this snack, and for the first time since Greece, I've finally gotten it right in the US!

Also did some Yoga today, which is good. Made me wish I were more flexible, so I'll just have to do more to get that way! I might start using some little hand weights too, because my arms just aren't strong enough to hold me in backbendsfor as long as I'd like.

Now to nourish the mind, with more medieval reading. I finished my first book, and now I'm onto Miracles and the Medieval Mind by Benedicta Ward. Very interesting!
