Truth Vs. Fact
So I just finished a very good book. Called Return to Mars by Ben Bova. Basically its about a struggle to continue the exploration of Mars when there are forces trying to stop it. So I am to escape the roommates of frustration. No longer will the unwashed dishes threaten peril to the unwary, no more shall the poorly trained dog leave me shaking with restrained fury, and no more will I find my self wondering what kind of upbringing could have left someone with such a poor work ethic ( Read more... ) -

Humanity makes me depressed. Walking home from work today I was passed by a jogger. Not an infrequent occurrence but this one was actively smoking while running (well kinda shuffling along). Dude was not a small man and he was visibly huffing and puffing as his lungs worked over time for oxygen and he's sucking down smoke like it's sweet mana.ARRG -
Hallelujah
So has anyone ever listened to the song Hallelujah by Rufus Wainwright? I was just listening to it and I got a whole S&M vibe off it. I mean really; "Her beauty in the moonlight overthrew you. Inside Out Festival
So this weekend was the Inside out movie festival. I've been looking forward to this since I first heard of it back in the spring. So I picked up some tickets and Jessie and I spend Saturday watching glbt themed movies from around the world. First Week
Well I'm done my first week back at Convergys. And I couldn't be more bored. I don't know how I'm going to survive this place again. The shift alone is killing me. I get home from work at 1am. Make and eat dinner and usually watch some tv or play on the computer for a bit and crash by 3am. And the next day its all I can do to drag myself out of bed ( Read more... )
