This past weekend I was in the Bay Area for my step-grandfather's 80th, and for the first night of Passover. Also got to hang with Binky & Atomic (though not long enough), and had a good time exploring a park and cute neighborhood with ladymsrubyI also spent a few hours with both parents and my brother all at the same time. Eesh. Sober is good.

My younger siblings scare the hell out of me - although not on a daily basis anymore, thank god. I'm always happy when they're in y presence b/c it usually means they're not doing anything that could result in injury or various other bad things.

I'm glad he's ok.

Also, awwww... you guys are sweet.

Heh. Are they all as modest as you, too? :P

Also, the flower photos on your Flickr are *stunning*.

Wow. I've only met him once, I think -- I mostly know him through photos and stories -- and even I'm startled by that photo of him. I'm glad he's pausing to take stock. Hope he works it out.

Ditto 31504's comments about the scariness of younger siblings. Mine seems to have finally knocked off the death-defying stuff (knock wood) -- it's been a couple of years since he last made me want to thump his head against the wall. (He's built like your brother. Not terribly sure I could knock his head against the wall, short of his letting me.)

*hugs*

Your brother sits on the couch the exact same way you do. I love family resemblences! Glad he's going to take it easy for awhile.

He's lucky to have a brother who cares for him the way you do. I hope his well-being improves. *S*

He ran his into a freeway support pillar in Oakland.

Oh my god. I'm so glad he's alive. I'd say my heart hurts for him/you, but it's more my stomach.
