There were so many bits here that made me laugh out loud in sheer glee:

"La, la, la," Rodney interrupts, slamming his hands over his ears. He won't deny that he had certain thoughts when he first got to know Teyla, at least until his rational mind whacked him over the head and told him 'way out of your league'. Anyway, Teyla is a mom now and she's married, and is the closest thing Rodney has to a sister in this galaxy, and he doesn't want to discuss her sex life any more than he wants to discuss Jeannie's.

It takes several weeks before Rodney is up for sex at all and the irony is killing him. What's worse, he can't even complain to John because John would never let him hear the end of it. Rodney can just imagine the conversation. 'That's right dear, I put my back out in my attempts to become more attractive so you would want to have hot sweaty monkey sex with me again, and as a result, I am now at day seventeen and counting of highly involuntary celibacy.'
