Hedera sock question answered AND NEW photos by the designer.
Er wasn't sure how to title this post. When the new knitty came out I saw there were a questions on some of the knitting communities about the Hedera socks, in terms of what feet they'd fit (It was just noted it was REALLY stretchy and said unstretched was 7 and 7.5 inches respectively..) Conundrum
Now.. It's been my plan to make some sort of shrug or sweater that will fit me when I lose some more weight.. Problem is, I'm not sure how small I'll be getting down to AND I don't know that "standard" sizes would fit since I'm just about positive I'm still going to have a rather large chest ( Read more... ) -
It was my intent to use this journal
for a f/o and wip journal.. I find I have not been keeping up with it at all.. Maybe because I haven't had any f/o since august and still have tons of wips.
Anywhoo, I shall soon post photos of alll my wips, as something to encourage me to finish them.
I definitely have knitters ADD.

Cabled bag ideas?
Okay I've got about 300 yards of DK weight Encore in a pretty light green.. I want to do a small to medium size bag with cables hopefully in round... Anyone have any ideas?? I'm thinking of maybe adapting Marina from the book 25 Bags to Knit or maybe just taking a cable pattern I like, casting on some stitches and knitting til it's done.. I ( Read more... )
