my garden is being fairly awesome: delicious zucchini, arugula, fava beans, chard, beets, and some other good stuff too. we have roses this year and they are very pretty.
a dish with leftover oil, eggplant (one long narrow purple one and a few little bitty green ones), red onions, chopped tomatoes, humus, a couple slices of pickled beet, and some hot yellow peppers (second group of ingredients leftover from some takeout), served up with toasted pita.
