If Tia Dalma dosen't like Whatsherface all that much, why dosen't she just kill her? She's Calypso, the wild and impulsive goddess of the sea. PUSH HER OVERBOARD!PLEASE!

What abput the crabs? What happened to them? They (and by extension Tia Dalma, as she either controls them or is them, I dunno) saved Jack and the Pearl in the movie by bringing the ship to the crew. WHY NO LOVE FOR THE CRABS, GETHSEMANE?

And damn right the last chapter was rubbih, the Sue wasn't being Frenched. Gethsemane can't write scenes at all that don't have her avatar being worshipped by the resident hottie (or tentacle monster).

I honestly and truly don't get what's up with Calypso. I think the idea is that she wants Barbossa to release her, but he keeps refusing to do so if she hurts Kate. That begs the question though of why she chose the guy who is Kate's uncle and thus will protest her killing Kate!

No, there are no crabs. Either Gethesemane is lazy, or she wants to ignore Tia Dalma.

Oh God, so true!

Wait, wait, wait did she just admit that she's a talentless hack? Dude, then why does she act all awesome? Why not say to the haters " I am well aware that I am not the best writer and I have no plans to publish, this is just for my own personal enjoyment.". If all suthors did that, they probably would have less problems

No, she says "I am a talentless hack", but what she means is "praise me and insist that I am not really talentless. Disgusting, really. XP

Kate referring to Barbossa as "Uncle Hector" has been bothering me for a while now, and I finally realized what it is. As a Jane Austen fan, I have this on automatic recall - so, all of the PoC stories are set somewhere around the late 1700s, early 1800s. In those times, there were detailed how-to-properly-refer-to-someone rules, which meant that you referred to uncles and aunts as "Uncle/Aunt LastName" not "Uncle/Aunt FirstName."

Of course, I'm not sure if there's any point to counting the historical inaccuracies in this story.

Huh, I did not know that. I chalked it up to annoyance that Gethesemane was showing off how pwecious and dear the Sue was to Barbossa.

Given how anachronist her Sweeney Todd series was...yeah, no point I'm afraid.
