These marriage contracts sound like a logic puzzle.

The house of Black will marry the house of Prewitt, but only if the house of Black is two years older than the house of Potter, who was twice Black's age five years ago.

Luke: I can't make heads or tails of this.
Layton: Now, Luke. A gentleman doesn't read back fanfiction.
Luke: You could have told me that five chapters ago.
Layton: But you would have missed the wonderful musical number.

Minor correction: Daphne Greengrass showed up in canon. Astoria Greengrass, whom Draco married, did not show up in canon, since I believe she was actually a year below Ginny. Astoria is Daphne's little sister.

Also, the Harry-Ginny "break-up" scene reminded me of the Aang-Katara scene in Ember Island Players.
