Wah, really? I just kind of sat down and poured it out, and I'm glad it has the impact that it had for me when the idea formed.

You know, funny thing is that I originally was going to write two versions of this: one like I posted here, and one where chibi Baru flips the hell out... But I was really happy with this one, so I didn't want to write the other one. Maybe I should have. XD

haha yup! that's how I imagine him in my mind too, coz chibi Suba was moody and bad-tempered (and still is, I think!)...care for another version? hehe...

To me, Subaru has two sides... His outrageous, exaggerated, moody performer side and his quieter, shy side. Around his friends, though, he can really open up and be just crazy as all hell. I think what I wanted to convey with his awkward overdone friendliness toward the end of this was him putting up a sort of barrier. It's that natural instinct when you're that age to protect yourself...

Oh, gosh, sorry, I'm rambling on Subaru theory over here. Sorry. XD

That was pretty good...it was rather angsty, but you managed to capture the emotions really well.

I tried really hard to make it very emotional but still blunt. That was the feeling I got when it was requested, so I wanted readers to feel the same thing. I don't know if I did it, though. Thank you for commenting!
