You know, funny thing is that I originally was going to write two versions of this: one like I posted here, and one where chibi Baru flips the hell out... But I was really happy with this one, so I didn't want to write the other one. Maybe I should have. XD

haha yup! that's how I imagine him in my mind too, coz chibi Suba was moody and bad-tempered (and still is, I think!)...care for another version? hehe...

Maybe I'll write the other one when I have more time. ^^;

To me, Subaru has two sides... His outrageous, exaggerated, moody performer side and his quieter, shy side. Around his friends, though, he can really open up and be just crazy as all hell. I think what I wanted to convey with his awkward overdone friendliness toward the end of this was him putting up a sort of barrier. It's that natural instinct when you're that age to protect yourself...

Oh, gosh, sorry, I'm rambling on Subaru theory over here. Sorry. XD

ah,no worries! one thing sbout Subaru is how intriguing his past is, just makes us wanting for more! it's like some kind of mysterious aura about him despite his cheery upfront, ne?

I think he's just a really interesting person all around, and him being so complicated definitely makes him mysterious. Someday maybe we'll hear the full story behind Skull-chan and everything~ Subaru tell-all! I'd buy it!
