everything is GODAWFULLY good! I haven't seen the translation of the song/PV yet, but just watching the PV and seeing how this story was made to it, is pretty awesome.

I like how it's broken between different perspectives and how theres a history hidden within each story. what a horrid life to live though. have things stripped raw like that(makes me wonder though, in thinking of Rising Sun, how would the machines use it as propaganda? guess I'll have to look that over again lol). I like how they all sort of come together in the bar and matsuoka sees it all, but just comments to himself about it. I dunno! theres too many thoughts in my head about this. all I know is that it was well worth the wait<3 freedom baby.

Oh gosh, thank you so much! It's a relief to hear that!

Well, the point with my view on the machines is that their goal is complete domination and enslavement of the humans. So, by starting things off with a film in which the hero dies, but the beautiful heroine "sees the light" as it were and joins the new movement, knowing she's not worthy and accepting their guidance, it sends the message that it's the only way to continue to live. Er. If that makes sense.

Gyaaaaa thank you thank you thank you.

MORE hearts <333333333

The visuals and transitioning in this *____*
(I often have a hard time letting scenes play out in my head and so it is nice when it works and flows so well).
Nagase's role was something I hadn't expected (and was surprised) but once you went into it.. it just clicked and it was awesome. The back stories for the characters hurt my heart a bit (just, having everything taken away like that D:) but were great. (my word skillz fail)

Also, Leader <3 <33
One of my favorite parts is Taichi leaving his music... I fail at explaining why.. but it stuck with me? The message he leaves and how it fits with the PV's message <3

(XDD Please ignore the icon, I don't really have a relevant one. CRY.)

djkfas THANK YOU, HON.

Adhgasfhjsdfjsdaf kjsd hks I'm glad it worked, gyaaaah. To live up to the given sound and visual was... The hardest part with this. I'm nto sure I hit it exactly, but I did my best!

ACK, sorry it hurt, but... I think the message of hope comes through in their attitudes and actions. Well, that's what I intended, anyway.

(Icon wins, regardless. XDDDD)

dsfkjasldf honestly, THANK YOU for reading and commenting, and I'm OVERJOYED that you liked it!

Yes their hope did come through clearly :D
I'd be all "D: D: D: D: tears" if there wasn't hope.
I'm a w00bie, sort of XD

First, thank you soooo much. I'm touched to be in the same dedication as luxvesperis (whose love for TOKIO needs no explanation), and it means a lot to me to be a beacon of TOKIO love that affects you. This is a beautiful work, in more than just the scope of SEISYuN-verse.

Taichi listening to Leader's broadcast. . .aklsdjlfkajd. That was the moment for me. It tied it all together, that was masterful.

I love how you completely and totally wrapped up the world in the takeover. You create consistent frames of reference like "I was born twenty-six years before the takeover began," which set the stage and don't let go.

I don't have say how awesome the wardrobe consistency is. <3 Speaking of consistency, the transition from each of the parts is sooo good. (Yes, even out of Yamaguchi's: "what's out there" to Mabo's bar, alkjdlkajdlf!) The constant symbol of the radio. . .eee!

Something I'm very proud of and respect much about this is how much your "voice" (just word choice/tone/etc, how I can tell you wrote something) doesn't come ( ... )

YOU GAVE ME THIS SINGLE, OKAY. XD How could I not hold you responsible?

LOL, funny thing about the timeline is that I haven't worked it out at all... XD I changed it two or three times while I was writing, but I plan on working it out now.

YOUR FAVORITE PARTS ARE MY FAVORITE PARTS, EEEEE. I was in love with Taichi's back when the entire end of it was different and the sentences at the start were awful. It was the most natural to edit, I think. Leader's didn't need much editing because it came out in a melancholy tone that surprises you as you go through the piece and see how positive he really is. It seems from your comment that that got across, and I'm OVERJOYED. When I got the image of Nagase's, it was SO strong. I don't think I was able to completely get it out, but I had to give it the urgency, the brevity.

Thank you for the comment. Gah. Thank you, thank you SO much.

I gotta ask: Do I have *that* much of a presence? Granted, I do have an unhealthy TOKIO obsession. (^_^)

Mmmm, I think that you are definitely a prominent person who gives a lot back to the community with translations and such. I'm not particularly actively involved in the fandom, but I know I've enjoyed things that you've worked on and I appreciate it. =)

I like it. (^_^) Not how I saw some of them as their characters, but that's what's good about reading other people's writing. Matsuoka seemed a bit Manhattan-Love-Story-Tencho to me and I don't see "Masahiro" that way.

One thing I would have liked to see for Leader at a bar is him drinking bourbon. It's an automatic connection I make. Leader=bourbon. Yamaguchi=shochu. Taichi=beer or sake. Matsuoka=cocktails(purple ones) or champange or vodka or bourbon (but that's Leader's). Nagase=tequila. (Yay for TOKIO drinking stories.)

Sorry, getting back to the subject at hand. I don't think it failed at all. Good job.

PS I reworked my translation of the lyrics. Streamlined them a bit. It's amazing how much makes sense after leaving it for a while to settle. Thanks for making the chance for me to go back and look at it again. (^_^)v

I have NEVER seen Manhattan Love Story and I don't know a THING about it. How funny. XD Honestly, I was at a loss for Matsuoka's character until the third time I tried to write it. I was trying to connect the "say something nice" sort of line with a persona.

Ahahaha! Drinks. I wasn't thinking about anything like that at all. I'm planning on writing a sequel to this if people actually care to read it. Otherwise I can just plot it in my head and be happy with that much. XD I'd have to work something like that in, it's too apropos. I almost want to find someone to remix this and write it better, 'cause goodness knows even with 5 edits and endless rewrites my brain still gets ahead of my writing ability.

Thank you! I did my best!

Ooooh. God, I really love that song.

Duuude, that's really weird. (^_^) I saw "Masahiro" as a bit of a lighter character. Only on the surface. He's hiding pain... *imagination wanders off*

Okay, I need to write my paper.

While listening to TOKIO.

And envisioning them as the only defense between mankind and destruction.

(^_^)

Ooooh. He's actually a really light character in my mind, but he's not showing it at all here. I kind of unconsciously wrote him as the silent observer, with his wit just in his thoughts on the other characters. He's an optimist but he's got that layer of "damn it, this sucks" along with something hidden that I couldn't touch on. XD *imagination wandering in another direction~~~*

Good luck on your paper!

Hey, if the world was ending, I'd want THEM to rescue us all.
