Exhibit One:
Instead of being dusty and bone-dry, my place now has rolling green hills with a flowing creek.  It's really pretty!

Non-locals:  Fine, whatever.
Locals:  Uh-oh.  ::start to look shifty::

I'm looking at doing birthday things myself on the 26th - would be delighted to head up for either 3rd or 10th though.

I had a vague feeling someone might have said something about the 26th. OK, the 3rd it is, at least until someone else weighs in.

Dogs welcome, of course!

Birthday.... emma_in_oz June 14 2005, 00:57:53 UTC
Yeah, what are you doing about your birthday, J?

And Kris, OK, I can make it though I expect I shall not be terribly useful in the physical labour. I remember when I 'helped' Karen assemble her shed. I was marginally more useful than Liz B who was 8 months pregnant at the time - I think that's about all that could be said for me.

These trees are so small you could plant them with a fork. Nothing that can be done with a fork counts as physical labour! It's easy and fun...

I need better marketing skills. Still, glad you can make it!

Sunday the 3rd, then. There will be cake, and we can make the necessary additions to Happy Birthday!

I've got a 21st party on the 25/6, so I might not be up to hard labour the next day (or driving and sunlight).

The other dates are fine...

We're on for the 3rd. I'll see you on the 26th at your place, where you only have to get out of bed!

3rd July is good for me.

I look forward to seeing your pretty green place and putting my gumboots all over your new plot of land!

Great. I just sent an email confirming the 3rd to slashgropers and to your work address, got your out-of-office reply.

Good luck for your rogaine at the weekend!
