I now own a car, for the first time in about 6 years.  I'd sort of decided, though perhaps not formally, that I wasn't going to get another car until I could get a hybrid, so I now have a 2005 Prius.

So, today, my company, the Harry W. Schwartz Bookshops, announces that they're closing all the doors at the end of March. There'd been whispers and rumors and whatnot for a while, but we, the employees, just found out last night, and the public was made aware today...

This week's Pushing Daisies gave an absolutely phenomenal twist to the term "tap that."  At almost the same time, it gave Chi McBride a chance to make a Dick Van Dyke reference.  And, while Ned and Charles have a father/boyfriend power struggle, Olive and Emerson keep visiting...  a big ol' lighthouse.
