So today Alix dropped by and I got to try out his 3DS with the new Kid Icarus game! The 3D effect is kind of fascinating, but it can get sort of headachey and also it's kind of annoying not being able to shift your head a lot

Wikipedia suggests wolves do act like that in captivity, just not in the wild. So, it's not _entirely_ false/myth. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gray_Wolf#Social_structure (I'm also not checking the sources, so someone could have completely made it up!)

And technically, david is the one who brought up alpha wolves, not puaguy. afaik there are several other species for which the common notion of 'alpha' is largely correct.

I DID THINK OF THAT but in captivity that behavior is brought about due to a bunch of unnatural circumstances so it's not something that'd come naturally, you know? so to me it doesn't count the same kind of way
