So today Alix dropped by and I got to try out his 3DS with the new Kid Icarus game! The 3D effect is kind of fascinating, but it can get sort of headachey and also it's kind of annoying not being able to shift your head a lot

8D 8D 8D Enchanted Forest! Those were my favorite books growing up, and still rank high for me to this day. Speaking of that character disjointedness... I know Cimorene should be dark-haired, it's part of her not-princessness. But my brain still gives her blond all these years later. O.o And my brain still pronounces her name Cinmorne. When really, that's not right at all. XD

Telemain and Morwen though were my fav couple too. XD They were always so cute when they interacted. I thought it was a robe full of pockets? Though that could just be how I saw him in my mind. XD Dang, it's been so long since I read them... I can't remember the guy's name, but there was someone in a tower in the middle of a swamp or something that Daystar and Shiara interacted with. I think he was another fire-witch, but I'm not sure. XD I do remember I liked him too though for some reason. Man, I need to find those and read them again.

Haha I LOVED THEM AS A KID and rereading them now they still hold up pretty well. :D Man I had a heck of a time pronouncing Cimorene's name as a kid... I think for a while it was simmer-own or simmer-een.

THEY REALLY WERE haha. I definitely want to reread the third book since I vaguely recall them interacting more in that one, since Telemain only comes in in the second book. SO MUCH BICKERING

haha poor david just so puzzled WHAT DO YOU MEAN ALPHA WOLVES WHAT :O from what i read the head wolves are really just the mom and dad wolves, and the rest of the pack is usually their kids. So the kids automatically follow their parents around as leaders since they know what they're doing, and eventually break off to make their own packs along the same way. :B

That sounds about right from what I'm heard...like, the parent wolves can still be called the "alphas" it's just that the word doesn't mean what most PUA probably think it means. (I.E. Strong, dominant male wolf who maintains a harem of lady wolves who he can mate with whenever he pleases, or some crap like that.) I've also gotten the idea that the 'alpha' PAIR mates for life, and might even be a bit monogamous with each other. So, yeah...closer to a family unit. :B

Man, every time I looked at David all I could think was HIPSTER SCARF and I don't think that's quite what you were going for. I think that's mostly because I see a lot of hipster scarves though, probably just a perception thing.

Aw, I'm sorry to hear about Kid Icarus! I can understand a little bit of goofiness since it was in the original game, but from the quotes you're sharing here, it looks like they went too over-the-top and sounds OOC. I've always thought of Kid Icarus as an adventure story with a little bit of weirdness, so to have all these bad puns is... jarring. Not really like how I imagine Pit and Palutena at all. :( Hope the rest of the game gets better.

And... I've never heard of PUA, but I'll be staying far, far away. I can't believe there's still a bunch of assholes who think like that. :/

Yeah I always thought of it as a straight forward adventure story so it was weird to see it being so goofy. MOSTLY THE CONTROLS ARE REALLY PUTTING ME OFF THOUGH, THEY ARE EXTREMELY IRRITATING
