Instead of witty notes (do I hear snorts?), this chapter comes with a gorgeous wallpaper by inderpal. (Come to think of it, just knowing I'll get another piece of fantastic art from her if I finish another chapter, it did provide quite some motivation.)

I am crying and hyperventilating from fright after having a spider walk over my legs (SPIDERS + ME = COMPLETE AND TOTAL SHUT-DOWN), but this fic is still amazing and maybe if I read it again I will calm down and comment with something more intelligent than this.

Hello, hi! Well, seeing as you already knew some of this chapter, so glad the rest wasn’t a let-down. And, ugh. Spiders. I’m not really frightened of them, but I am of the opinion that while I would never begrudge them for hanging out in a forest, I do not want them in my room. But! I’m sure the spider was at least as scared of you as you were scared of it!

Right, am a little more coherent now, so I'll attempt to make sense and give this chapter the praise it deserves! :D

OMG YAY THEY GOT TOGETHER AND ALSO OMG YAY MERLIN GETS TO LET HIS MAGIC HANG OUT IT'S LIKE CHRISTMAS AND MY BIRTHDAY ROLLED INTO ~7,900 WORDS.

Buh, the descriptions are phenomenal, as per usual. You made the experience of Merlin getting nervous and Arthur finally pulling his head out of his arse realistic and funny and heart-warming and charming all at once, which was like PIE made out of CANDY, and then Merlin's actual performance, with the lights... I could actually close my eyes and see it right there, it was so full of brilliant imagery. Love, love, loved it.

Better? XD

And everyone tells me that, but I've never seen a spider lock up in abject terror and stand in a corner clutching themselves and shaking so hard their teeth hurt for twenty minutes before they can move again. But then again, I try not to observe spiders too closely, so. Could be wrong. 9____9;;;
