Instead of witty notes (do I hear snorts?), this chapter comes with a gorgeous wallpaper by inderpal. (Come to think of it, just knowing I'll get another piece of fantastic art from her if I finish another chapter, it did provide quite some motivation.)

Well, I've read it! ;P and it's wonderful in the most squeeze my heart kind of way! Obtuse!Arthur and wise, wise Morgana, and honest, honorable, adorable Merlin! I love the tension and the seeming betrayals and the misunderstandings and the getting it right in the end. Arthur opening his eyes is so much win and the way Merlin makes him realize so much and become a better person is what it's all about. You've crafted a fantastic universe here. I can't wait for the conclusion, but I also don't want it to end! I think I'll start over and read from the beginning to prolong the pleasure!

You’re making me feel nostalgic before the story’s even come to an end, oh! I honestly love characters that grow over the course of a story - even if it’s just Arthur being more willing to stand up to his father, or Merlin learning how to deal with an audience or finding a place where he fits. Progress! Change! And, oh.

I will be sad to leave this universe behind, definitely. On the other hand, so many plans for other stuff!

Oh God, Merlin’s performance. It is very pretty in my head, him standing in the arena with all those nameless faces turned towards him, like a bright focus point in the darkness. If I were any good at manips (I’m not; all I can do is edit one picture so the colours look better) or anything like that, I’d give it a try.

But as long as it looks pretty in my head, all is well! *beams*

Fabulous, as always! I loved the tension between Arthur and Merlin and how Arthur had to be metaphorically bashed over the head a few times before he figured things out. And I'm so glad Merlin has gotten his chance to shine!
