It flooded, though not immediately. It was a trickle: I couldn't see an obvious leak, though I didn't have much time to spend staring at it.

I've looked at it, and saw something (trash) under one of the gaskets. I'm going to try again tomorrow after Kyle's defense.

If removing that debris doesn't fix it, I'm going to try some kind of goo.

i think i still have some epoxy laying around for surfboard repairs that should make it water tight if you want it

Thanks. I'll let you know. I'm going to try silicone first, though.
