A while back, I mentioned National Geographic Adventure Paper.

After some more use, and more submergings, I have additional information to add.

At least with my HP ink, over time, the red starts to bleed and fade, and blue starts to show through onto the other side of the paper.

Today, I bought a pack of National Geographic "Adventure Paper" from Great Outdoor Provision Co.  Print on it using your inkjet printer, and you've got a waterproof printout.  It only works in inkjet printers, no laser printers.  They intended it to be used for printing maps, but I can see all kinds of other uses.

Tested the dive computer housing in the pond this weekend.  It leaked.  It was fine for two weeks submerged in a bucket at my house, but it didn't survive 2.5 feet in the pond for maybe 45 minutes attached to a swim suit ( Read more... )

After greasing up the o-rings well and doing another test of the housing, it still flooded ( Read more... )

It flooded, though not immediately. It was a trickle: I couldn't see an obvious leak, though I didn't have much time to spend staring at it.

I've looked at it, and saw something (trash) under one of the gaskets. I'm going to try again tomorrow after Kyle's defense.

If removing that debris doesn't fix it, I'm going to try some kind of goo.
