Finally got around to customizing a doll again. Moanica is probably the first new character doll I've been excited about in a long time. I was so excited about her design (brains!) and even the execution of her doll (no molded pants!) that I had to get her. It took me awhile to encounter it but after I did it just kept popping up again and again and again. I am of course talking about the much dreaded glue head problem that many doll collectors have with their fashion dolls. Rock hard dolls head covered with oily and tacky hair that clumps and refuses to be brushed or tamed. Simple soap and water do ( Read more... )

I like this but I also am really displeased with it. It's somewhere between too far for a doodle and not far enough for a decent drawing or illustration. Could be better, but it got done. If it were nicer I might have considered prints. Maybe.

Numbers 5 and 6 were absolutely killer on me. Drawing is real hard guyz and I'm having trouble doing it. Last one is Thala, my DnD orc fighter, in a suit. An ill fitted suit. Because something about not looking professional or something. Listen, even I don’t know how my brain works, okay?
