Two and a half years ago, my friend commissioned me for a Monster High doll customized as a deer with fawn markings, antlers, and big doe eyes. I started working on her but soon after progress fizzled out as I became very nervous about ruining her and not having the right materials or supplies on hand. Not to mention so. many. obstacles! Commission on a Lorifina fashion doll by Hasbro. Was pretty excited to work on this since I haven’t done anything like it before. It’s so odd to not focus so much time and energy on eyes, haha! Owner wanted this face to look more alive and not so flat as it was initially. I hope I was able to achieve that.

Sometime last year, I got out of work "early" and saw a slew of teenagers in sparkly blue dresses and rented tuxes cross a busy street to grab a bite to eat at Whataburger. They stood out to me so into the sketchbook the idea went in. Finally added some color.
