my next door nieghbour keeps pidgeons (well, this is the north of england you know) and for some unknown reason they've all decided to congregate on my garage roof and stare in through the kitchen window.

My not-so-inner child still thinks "horsies! see the pretty horsies!" whenever i see police horses. They patrol in town quite a bit becasue they're stabled at ormesby hall a few miles away. the two in town today had remembrance poppies pinned to thier bridles, which made me smile far more than is reasonable.
