My not-so-inner child still thinks "horsies! see the pretty horsies!" whenever i see police horses. They patrol in town quite a bit becasue they're stabled at ormesby hall a few miles away. the two in town today had remembrance poppies pinned to thier bridles, which made me smile far more than is reasonable.
