Thanks, darlin'. <3 She'll probably be fine after they get everything done that they need to do. I'm trying not to worry too much, even though I'm still a bit rattled from everything, ahaha. ;;
Agh, that's bad. Wishing her a quick recovery! But I'm glad you didn't listen to her, with heart attacks it can and often is a question of time.
Reminds me of my grannie who wouldn't tell anyone she had epilepsy and then scared the living daylights out of all of us when she had a seizure once. I remember we were there, my two cousins and I and our parents, and all of a sudden we were thrown out of kitchen and the door was locked. I still remember how confused we were and how my cousin went to have a peek, got severely scolded and then came back telling us grandma was twitching on the floor.
But at least it was understandable that she kept it a secret, if that had been found out while she was young she would have been sterilized against her will (it was the law) and well, we're all sort of happy she wasn't.
Thanks darlin'. <3 I've received word that she got to the city okay, so everything should be fine now.
I just wish that I had been told that we have a family history of this sort of thing. It would've been nice to know ahead of time instead of SUDDENLY, THIS and also "oh hey btw your family has heart problems on both sides and you might want to get yourself checked out for that too JUST SO YOU KNOW"
Whoa, that's all kinds of awful. Good that everything seems to have turned out fine in the end, even though it must have still been quite a shock. Wishing your mom a quick recovery as well!
oh my gosh.. i'm really glad to hear she is and will be okay. i hope she makes a speedy recovery but it sounds like it would've been terrifying - maybe it sounds melodramatic but my heart skipped a beat just reading. all the best to her, and to all of you.
