Driving and French and Writing and Moving, oh my!

I WENT DRIVING. ON THE BIG ROAD. Score! I drove all the way to my brother's house and back, through major intersections and everything. I'm very proud of myself, haa. Still a little bit nervous because good gods I hate fast busy streets, but I'm getting better at this whole thing, and I haven't crashed into anything yet! (And hopefully that won't ( Read more... )

Nice music.

I'm telling you, study Swedish when you finish French. That way, we can study together!
I'm glad you're starting to write stuff with your own character, fan stuff is really great but there's something special about using your original plots. And who said you need an excuse to read up on Estonia? Estonia doesn't need excuses.

Hope your moving and driving goes well.

I AM LEANING TOWARD IT. Just because it would be easier and etc etc etc... but Finniiiiish....

Estonia always needs an excuse. Unfortunately.

Learn Swedish, then Finnish after that! And yeah, I've heard that Swedish is easier before- it's not super-easy or anything, but it easier.

You're making me want to go read up in my book(s) about Estonia now.

Yeah. I mean, just considering it, it seems it would be easier. And I don't think I would be as worried about getting something wrong with that one, not like I would be with Finnish.

But STILL.

You totally should do it. Because I said so.

Have a safe move Mr. Yuu!

And congrats on writing something original. I need to get back to doing that.

Swedishhh! It's pretty easy 'cause it's so similar to English. And it sounds nice. Then again, Finnish is good if you don't want to memorize genders. :Va And it's cute as hell. Though I would be very impressed if you did Polish, oh man. I'm never poking at that language again, it's a beast.

And I'm sure you'll be fine driving some of the way, especially if it's mostly highways and long stretches of back road. There aren't many drivers to get in your way and stuff. If you can handle driving ON THE BIG ROAD, the countryside should be child's play for you. Really, don't worry.

Oh yeah. OT, but I'm probably going to send you those Moomin books next Saturday. I can't get to the post office during the week and you're moving this week, so yeah. /o/

Anyway, good luck with the move and driving.

Super late hurr obviously but anyway. AHH yeah I do figure Swedish would be more similar to English, thus easier, but then again Finnish is Finnish.... I think another thing I'll have to consider is what sort of resources are available to me, of the kind that I know I can learn well from :Va ehhh...

AHA. The books. <3 Well, no rush, I am patient.

Yay origfic, and yay moving! And ack, truckdriving on the highway sounds kind of less than fun (speaking from one CARS AAAAH person to another), but if your parents are there, you should be okay, right?
