Mr. Hulot's Holiday which is a classic French comedy that mostly involves physical comedy. Kinda like is Mr. Bean had been filmed in 1953.
West Side Story which is my favourite film of all time. Kinda cheezy, but Sondheim writes great music, and the choreography is ace.
Unmistaken Child a documentary about a Buddhist monk looking for the child who's the reincarnation of his Llama master. Totally amazing, simply for the images.
La Nana which is a recent Chilean film about a live-in maid, and the meaning of family. It was pretty interesting!
Delicatessen is a French film set in post apocalyptic 1950's pseudo-France. Dark, disturbing and HILARIOUS. (Same art director as Amelie, which I've assumed you've seen! If not, watch that too!)
El Laberinto del Fauno otherwise known as Pan's Labyrinth. It's fucking masterpiece. It's such a great mix of history (it's set during the Spanish Civil War) and fantasy and the art direction is drool-worthy.

As for films...! If you have any interest in Bollywood at all, I'd rec Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Jab We Met, and Dostana. Greenfingers is a British comedy I liked about prisoners and gardening. The Inspector General is an older comedy (based on a Gogol play, the Wiki says) I quite liked. Everything is Illuminated is kind of sad but uplifting - set in Ukraine. Mostly Martha is a super cute romantic comedy drama set in Germany with a theme of cooking. And then I recently watched Julie & Julia, which I thought was also good.
Been watching a lot of movies myself, just a little excited to rec some stuff!
Also, hi, been a while since I've commented to you orz o/
I love films! You should watch "Clerks" and "Big Fish" if you haven't yet. "My Life as a Dog" is probably one of my favourite films ever, it's this wonderful Swedish drama, but I'm hopeless at writing summaries so you'll just have to believe me. "Amélie" is also good, as well as "lock, stock and two smoking barrels", "snatch" and "l4yer cake" (those are quite violent though). When it comes to documentaries Searching for the Wrong-Eyed Jesus is simply amazing, it has such a strong mood and it's really interesting.
Canada is crazy and seems to want to hold on to winter until my birthday, sob. :c
I will be checking out these ones <3 I've heard of some of them... I remember I wanted to see "Big Fish" when it was in the cinema, but I never got around to it. Of what you listed, the only one I've seen is "Amélie" - it's one of my favourites ever, ahhhh <3
I know, eh? I mean the style isn't necessarily everyone's cup of tea (I know some don't like in-text accents) but it's just drawn me in so much, aa. I can hardly wait until Anonymous puts up the rest.
Ahaa, guess I should have made it clearer orz but now you know.
IIRC they mostly have the rest done, just need to re-work it, aksdfj. I am. So. Excited.
*ruffles* Hmmm, I don't blame a person for being sick of fandom... but I also think that it's possible to just enjoy the good stuff (if people rec it etc) while ignoring the bad.

Fff my memory is horrible too. Unless I have re-watched something in the last six months, I can never remember it, even if it's a favourite orz.
