It's Saturday and this time Saturday actually means that I have time off. The last couple of weeks have been weird. My mood changes all the time and frankly it’s quite stressful. As probably most of you have noticed, I’m a board member of Norwegian Humanist Youth, this involves quite a lot of something I’ve never been good at, responsibilities.
Now knowing this one would think that the decision to join to the board of a quite large youth organisation would be a very thought through one, wrong.

I bought "Finn Family Moomintroll" and "Moominpapa at Sea" last Friday, the library didn't have them and I'd decided to buy the books anyway. They were both so wonderful in their own way, from the wonderful and amazing silliness of "Finn Family Moomintroll" to the melancholy of "Moominpapa at Sea". I love the Moominseries so much.

Just some mindless rambling
I made a call to a complete stranger today, my first job as a board member of Norwegian Humanist Youth. Nothing big, but you have to understand, I'm absolutely terrified of making phone calls, I barely even call my mum. But I did it, took me almost a week, but I actually did it. This is just no... just no!
School is still killing me, and I don't have internet most of the time, but I'll try to comment on stuff when I have the time.

Things have gotten closer to the sun
When the world seems grey and I’m buried in schoolwork. When the cocoa bar has closed down and my internet access is limited to once a week, and I get sick right before my full day tests who already seems like something I won't be able to handle. There is still earth beneath the pavement
Finally vacation is here, a whole week without school. This means staying up late and still getting enough sleep, internet, reading and a minimum of homework.
It also means a lot moving. My mum’s former ex-boyfriend now fiancé (it’s complicated) is moving in with her. Today they arrived with some of his stuff and we don’t know where to put half ( Read more... )
