Furusato - Lyrics and Translation

Dec 31, 2010 07:21

The 2010 Kouhaku song written especially for the "Bokutachi no Furusato Nippon" (Our Hometown, Japan).

My last second to the last translation for the year, and what a fitting song!  XD

新年明けましておめでとうございます!よいお年を、
そして 今年も どうぞよろしくお願いします!!!
Happy New Year! May you have a wonderful year,
and I look forward to spending another year together with you!!!

The colors of the mountains, wind, and the sea. . . )

lyrics, *f, translation

Thanks for this ^^

Btw, abt the part

"wasurerarenai monogatari ga soko ni aru"
isnt that suppose to be

"wasurerarenai uta ga soko ni aru"?

When i listen to the song, i think it says "uta" and not monogatari.

Whoops, thanks for catching that! They did an "ateji" with the lyrics. The kanji reads "monogatari" but it's sung as "uta". Went back in and fixed it :)
