Friendship - Lyrics and English Translation

Jun 12, 2010 22:42

Aiba's solo from the Time album. It's a love letter to the other members (EDIT: Unfortunately, Aiba didn't compose the lyrics.  The song and lyrics are by Abe Yuya  D; ), and you can't help but fall in love with him a little as he sings it. If you haven't already, watch him bounce around singing this onstage during the Time concert. If you don't ( Read more... )

lyrics, . solo, @ ninomiya kazunari, album: time, *f, translation, @ aiba masaki

Nope! I'll be leaving at the end of June XD Two more weeks until I leave and I'm counting down the days!

And unfortunately no, Aiba didn't write the lyrics, Abe Yuya did. I don't think Aiba's really involved in lyrics, unless it's something like collaborating for 5x10.

And the Nino version is so sweet.

And LOVING your comm by the way. My Kaibutsu-kun fix would go sadly unfulfilled without you!! ♥ ♥ ♥

Nope, I'll be leaving Japan in late July so I'll miss the cons. T_T And besides, all I really want to do is just spend time with family, relax, catch up with Japanese culture, and watch Arashi live on TV ^^;;;.

It's been a stressful year for me, and I haven't seen some of my family in YEARS. . . lots and lots of catching up to do. I SOOOO need this trip!

Oh, I love this song! I've already had an idea about the lyrics, but your translation is great - as ever!
has he really wrote this? It would be possible...he talked about wanting to write his own lyrics years ago
I know both versions, I prefer Aibas, it's stronger, it makes me happy and moved me nearly to tears...
but I also love Ninos, he completely changed the atmosphere, but it works, even trough the happy feeling is not so strong, it sounds thankful but kind of sad at the same time...
Thank you!!

hmmm, I need to edit my post. ^^;;; Aiba didn't write the lyrics, but the song and lyrics were composed by Abe Yuya. And *nodding* with you about your comments on both songs. I love both versions, but each one has such a different vibe!!!

thought so about him writing the lyrics...but, honestly he should try it out...sometimes in interviews I'm impressed how he's able to put difficult things into kind of "you-know-what-I-mean-even-trough-I-don't-know-how-to-put-it"-words *sweat* you know?! ^-^

lol, sometimes Aiba's grasp of Japanese can be pretty shaky. I always laugh when Sho, Jun, and Nino are always verbally smacking him for saying/reading something incorrectly.

But I love Aiba, regardless ♥ ! But he does have that special "something" doesn't he? I love how he can change the atmosphere on set with just one phrase or word. He really isn't called "the moodmaker" of Arashi for nothing, is he? :D

^_________________^ A surprise this morning!!

Your innocent, smiling faces are always reflected >> It really is this way, ne?

Within this overflowing in my heart within the designs of the dreams I wish would come true >> Love the phrasing~.

Thank you for another wonderful lyrics translation. (Didn't forget the S there.^^)

woah! You're up early! Yep, decided to post it.

Well, not so sure about the "innocent" part *cough, porn video, cough*. . . *runs from bricks* XD

Phrasing. . . you'll have to thank babelfish for that! j/k ^^;;; Although, one day, I'd like to run a whole song through babelfish and see the result. ;)

LOL > "s" English, a language that makes absolutely no sense!

babelfish > please try that for your next release. XDD

As for their being innocent... let's leave him in his delusion, shall we. ^^;; Plus, Aiba's the cheerful pervert... That makes him sort of childish in his... questionable pursuits?

;)

don't tempt me ;p > babelfish

hmm, actually, let me try it. Here's the first two lines:

"Miracle how much being piled up, I like this doing, it probably can encounter?
Being embarrassed, however you cannot say easily, you shout in heart, “always thank you” "

@_@ not bad for babelfish!!! You mean I've been using my BRAIN all this time when I could have been cutting and pasting into babelfish?! Alright that's it!! All my translations will be done via babelfish from here on out (not)!!! LOL
