This is the first time in all my years of Yuletide I've finished SO EARLY. 2016 continues to be weird, but at least this is good weird.

I've been working on a ridiculous number of (ridiculously long) treats, and figured I'd end up having trouble with my assignment because this is the first year I've allowed myself to tackle treats before the assignment - but no, lo and behold, I just have to edit my assignment based on my beta's comments, and it's good to go with time to spare.

The treats, on the other hand, all wanted to grow to like 3000+ words and are going to be utter madness to finish even by the 25th...

Phew! My second, more detailed draft is finally finished and now I'm waiting for my beta's judgment before I'm ready to post, hopefully in good time before deadline. Not half bad for a first timer I think, especially with the amount of nerves and nail biting I have had to overcome to get this far. (Fretting about participation since 2009 should totally count too.)
