I agree! What a wonderful ride~ One i'll definitely take over and over again over the years as i reread the books. And i, too, am amazed at Cybele for predicting that ending so long before we got to this book. I'm just glad that we've still got fandom to cling to now that the series has ended. Let's step forwards eagerly into the post-canon years! ^___^
I always loved IYAP, but I want to pay a renowned respect to Cybele for having such an amazingly accurate foreseeing of the story.
Oh, yes, absolutely! Wow. During Harry's long walk, part of what made it so hard to read was remembering how completely undone I was after IYAP. I was almost horrified that I was going to have to feel that again, because it was so intense. And for me, so unusual. I hardly ever cry when I read things. But IYAP? I grieved, to the point of waking up in the middle of the night more than once during the following week and bursting into tears again. So I was incredibly relieved to have the reprieve in HP7 :).
I might be able to read it again, now. I've wanted to, pretty much ever since I finished it, but I was honestly nervous about going through that again.

The part that really got me was when Snape asked Harry to look into his eyes as he died. Waaaaaaaah! That was so sad! :=(
And Snape and Harry's matching deer patronuses were so wonderful! Yes, Snarry is definitely Canon now. :=)
