While Jirou-chan and I were waiting to be let in to work today, we noticed a stray patron wandering around in the library.

One of the circ supervisors saw him, as well as the guy that handles the library's A/V equipment.  Instead of them unlocking the doors so he could leave, he exited through the doors that were supposed to have been locked.

I was too busy to post again.  xD

Oh well!  There was kind of a lot to do.

I had to help my supervisor figure out my schedule and then help with something in Excel.  In between helping patrons and other little projects.  xD  I finished at about 10:35 or something.  And I work at 8 a.m. tomorrow!

They put out the Summer and Fall 2009 class lists.  There's actually a 401 Japanese language class.  I want to sign up for it...but the instructor is listed as "Staff."  Also, it's been so long since I've even taken a language class.  I'm kind of intimidated.  300 was pretty difficult...I can only imagine what 400 will be like.  Not to mention the ( Read more... )

I talked to the UHH Financial Aid Office.  Apparently the only way for me to qualify as a half-time student is if the class I'm taking at HawCC contributes to my major.  Which it doesn't ( Read more... )

So, I have this urge to go walking.  Not right now of course, it's 9:30 p.m. at night.  Although I have gone out to play in the yard at midnight or so.  If the sky is clear, we can take a look at the stars.  The street light sort of gets in the way, but we can still see quite a lot of stars ( Read more... )

The UH Board of Regents recently approved a new recreation fee of $78 per semester for all UH Hilo students.  The fee will allow all students access to the new Student Life Center on campus, which is expected to open at the beginning of the Fall 2008 semester.  The $78 semester fee works out to be only about $17 per month.  On average, recreation, ( Read more... )

Apparently...Jirou-chan and I don't work today.  :\  I thought we did.  There were some screw-ups with this year's budget, and they have less money than they thought.  I knew that eventually we'd be reduced to working 13 hours a week, but I thought that began next week, but apparently not!

I have a 8-10 page paper due tomorrow for my Japan Politics class.  I don't know what to write.  XD  I've known about it for a while, I just had that whole, "Ah, it's still [X] weeks away.  I have time!" thing going on.

But I realized on Saturday that my first paper is due Tuesday, and that I have another one due the day after it or Friday.
