1.  Today is my father's birthday.  The fact that he died seven years ago doesn't take that away from me or from him; he would've been 85 years old today, had he lived.  I remember his music, his jokes, his pig-headed pain-in-the-ass stubbornness (that I inherited in droves) and his optimism; he damn well wasn't any sort of saint, but he was a good

YES. WE MUST! Was planning on calling you or emailing you tonight, actually. She'll be flying in on 3/7 and leaving a week later; we're planning on spending part of that (couple of days, I guess) up towards Sedona & the Canyon, but-- hey: do you get a Spring Break? ^______^ Hmmmmm?

I do get a spring break but it's not til the week before Easter which is the first week of April. I'd love to get together and do something either before or after the trip north.
