Characters: Lelouch, Open to any Date/Place: Monday after school Warnings: Lelouchisms Summary: Something seems to be troubling Lelouch... he's playing chess, in an odd way.
He looked over. He had no idea Kyo was there, or if he did he had forgotten fairly quickly that she had accompanied him there. He let go of the Black King piece gently before turning to face her.
Kyo nodded. She hadn't really slept much, recently, so she was really tired. She decided to accompany Lelouch, because he seemed stressed... But rather than being comforting, she had fallen asleep instead.
"You shouldn't stay up so late, Kyo. You're going to end up sleeping all day if you do."
Though he was hardly one to talk. Lelouch only had three hours of sleep a day, six if he could pull off looking like he had a headache in class. He turned back to the chessboard and started to rearrange the pieces.
To be honest, it'd nearly made her jump out of her skin -- it was quite one thing to expect to hear something while strolling aimlessly with your eyes on the ground, and completely another for that something to be such a sideways brand of violent.
Turning her eyes over to the upheaven chessboard, her breath caught painfully in her throat like it often did whenever he managed to ... well, to exist anywhere in a five-yard radius of the ballerina in question.
Quietly she padded to the side of the small outdoor table, wrapping her fingers around the discarded Black Bishop and lifting it lightly from the board. "I don't know much about chess," Kanna said softly, "but I don't think that went too well, from that reaction."
"Obviously." He replied back acidly. He was angry at the game, at himself, and everything around him. None of it seemed to make sense to him - even in his head.
Lelouch began to pick the pieces of the board up. He snatched the Black Bishop from her, placing it back in it's proper place.
Walking along the park, Igor, now disguised as Philemon, felt the threads of fate pulling him to this place, to the park. Unbeknowst of the reason why, he came out from behind a tree and saw Lelouch. From the sublty tense way he was acting, it seemed he knew something was missing. Perhaps, thought Igor, it's possible to put this man back into play.
He stepped out of the shadows, the visage of a young man in a mask worn like a glove. A kind voice asked Lelouch a question, "Are you having problems, young sir?"
He chuckled softly. Arrogant to the last breath, it seemed that his fate would be full with these types of people. "I suppose that it doesn't mean that your decreasing ability to play chess isn't related to a feeling of discontent from deep within your mind then."
Suzaku was walking through the park to take a quick shortcut while enjoying scenery, when Lelouch caught his eye, sitting and being very frustrated. So like a good friend he came over to investigate, rather tense though for some reason.
"Did you beat yourself again?" he said slyly while grinning.
It caught him by surprise. Not Suzaku's comment, but that Suzaku was there himself. They had only just recently reunited after being torn apart when they were younger. They were the best of friends... but like him, Suzaku had changed.
He had to be careful on how to address this situation. Suzaku was no longer a Crown Prince, but he was now in the Knights of the Rounds. He had power, a place in society and the world....
He looked up at the sound of the voice. It felt...familiar, but he couldn't remember it. However what he saw was something that he couldn't even begin to explain through any logic he knew. It was as if everything had stopped to work in reality in that moment.
It was him. Himself, Lelouch, sitting there across from the other Lelouch. This one was different though. He had a smirk of amusement that curled on his lips, his hand on the side of his face. He was draped in a black cloak...
...and one eye, his left, was sparkling and coated in red. There was a golden bird in the center around the pupil as well.
All this Lelouch did however was chuckle at his confused counter part.

It doesn't really surprise him as much. In fact he feels kind of relieved.
"I don't bite or anything."

Everything that Lelouch didn't have.
"It's been a while."
