[It is December 23rd/24th! And of course someone needs to knock the holidays into Lelouch since he is usually silent.

AT SCHOOL: Lelouch has oddly been avoiding everyone. Even the Student Council. You can find him on the school roof sitting in the snow. He has a scarf and his hobo hat on.

AT THE BASE: Lelouch has somehow managed to lock himself

*SUDDENLY, draping on you.*

[He just raises his head to look at her. To let her know he acknowledges her being there even though he plans on saying nothing.]

... Why are you still at school?

[yourmindseye]

[He looks to the side and over the fence down at the snow covered yard. He hardly noticed that school had ended sometime ago and that the sun has set as well.]

[Somehow she knew where the hell he'd be.]

You people have got to stop sitting in the snow. What am I going to do with you?

[He doesn't answer except for a vague nod.]

[A pause, and she adjusts her coat so that she can sit next to him without literally freezing her ass off, pulling on her scarf. It's pink; Touta's scowling somewhere.]

Something's wrong.

[Of course he is. He gives Takeba a cow about it too in AMS!Canon.

Again, he doesn't answer. His gaze remains on the snow with one hand with it's palm up laying beside him, the other on his knee.]

*Well, he could probably just pick the lock, but he's polite and is now knocking on ur door, Lulu*

[Lelouch doesn't answer. He remains sitting on the bed, his back towards the door with his head bowed.]

Dude, are you still alive?

[No answer.]

[He raises his head. It's fairly late now, around 3:30am on Christmas Eve. He's suprised that anyone would be knocking on his door - or even trying to bother him.

He slowly stands and stops right in front of the door. He is sure whoever is on the other side heard the footsteps.]

*well, now that she knows you're awake...*

Are you done behaving like a child?

He almost smiles to himself. He knows the voice, the tone. And finds himself oddly surprised that she bothered to show. So Lelouch turns the door handle and opens it just enough for her to see half of his face.

It's clearly riddled with a lack of sleep and discontentment, but also like a lost soldier on the battlefield.]

*There is a ninja Kiku on the school rooftop. He's wearing a winter kimono, with an outer coat and a scarf.*

[Lelouch notices the boy, but hardly does anything other than glance at him.]

...You do not wish to spend time with your friends?

[He sighs and looks up at the sky. Could he really have friends anymore? With that price he paid to the Witch.... all that would be left is Zero.]
