[It is December 23rd/24th! And of course someone needs to knock the holidays into Lelouch since he is usually silent.

AT SCHOOL: Lelouch has oddly been avoiding everyone. Even the Student Council. You can find him on the school roof sitting in the snow. He has a scarf and his hobo hat on.

AT THE BASE: Lelouch has somehow managed to lock himself

[Lelouch doesn't answer. He remains sitting on the bed, his back towards the door with his head bowed.]

[No answer.]

Okay, seriously. If you're dead, I'd really like to know.

[yourmindseye]

[There's a thump on the wall, followed by another. As if he is trying to say "Yes, I am." But he doesn't verbally answer.]

Well that's sumthin at least... can you speak or do you just enjoy all this melodrama?

[A long pause and only one thump.]

[dark_twain]

No one can help if you're locked in your room, yanno.

[yourmindseye]

[He knows. But he believes no one can really help either. After all, it was his price he paid to the Witch so it is his burden to bare alone. But he knows that Duo would be waiting for a response, so he grants him with another thump.]

...the hell does that even mean?

[If he were in the mood, he might have even chuckled. But he just closes his eyes and lays backwards on the bed.]

You ever gonna come back to the land of the living?

[A long pause. A very long pause. But two thumps answer for "Yes. Eventually."]
