Well I think this weekend proves that even when I try to have a quiet weekend I fail. Friday was the NTU Alternative Formal. Having got suited up, spent an hour or so 'assisting' lost_in_music_ set up the PA up. People started arriving, I started DJing. No, because he isn't your mate, so don't worry. You showing up would be a nice gesture, like saying "I approve of you shagging my sister" but it wouldn't be rude of you not to go.

You will of course miss out on the booze and strippers.

But he is (well, I like him). And you obviously missed my previous post, he's training to be a minister, of the Church variety. So:

1. Not much booze.
2. No strippers.
3. He hasn't shagged my sister. At least not yet.

I hated that gig. Properly didn't enjoy it. Everyone said the sound was rubbish...was it that bad?

In all seriousness, the sound wasn't great. I was front centre though, so probably had the best of it.

the pics from the arbo/assault.

the mac in the dj booth intrigued me. im assuming it was being used for visuals?

what software/kit is being used? and what is it outputting to? VGA or composite/scart/etc? whats the specs of the video mixer? what sort of clips are you playing? is it all being automixed?

that sort of stuff :)

It's the third FRIDAY of every month, but it's off this month, hence the replacement pub crawl.
