Well I think this weekend proves that even when I try to have a quiet weekend I fail. Friday was the NTU Alternative Formal. Having got suited up, spent an hour or so 'assisting' lost_in_music_ set up the PA up. People started arriving, I started DJing. I hated that gig. Properly didn't enjoy it. Everyone said the sound was rubbish...was it that bad?

I heard from a few different people that the sound was rubbish. Fucking Old Angel Jim. Knew I shouldn't have asked him to do it. He wants paying too. And I'm loathe to.

This is where we enter band politics. Having seen the kind of backlash and general hatred we are getting (that I was evidently oblivious to previously) I'm in a 'keep everyone sweet' mood. The last thing I want to do is piss off the sound guy from The Old Angel (a venue where we play religiously 20 or so times a year AND my local) for the sake of £20. It's not worth it.
