quiet weekend

that's not to say i was productive, just didn't go out and spend lots of money. can't remember Friday evening. Saturday evening was chilled out, ate good dinner, played Life with Chris in the kitchen, with Lee, Jack, and Alex as spectators. then watched Q.I. with Chris before going to bed. i need to find a way to keep having my weekly Stephen Fry

isn't a masters the only post-grad degree offered to us anyways? our faculty is playing around with the idea of a masters of communication studies right now and keep badgering us 3rd and 4th years to get on board with it, which is NOT happening here haha.

I just don't like the idea of throwing money I don't have at an institution into my late 20s. however in your position, where getting into teacher's college as a woman to teach high school history is a small miracle, having a masters may work to your benefit.

it's a lot of time and money to invest, Steph, especially if you're planning on doing it across the pond. I guess what I'm asking is, if this masters were here in Canada would you be just as keen on taking it? if you're so in love with England you don't need to confine yourself to four more years of schooling just to be there.

(I don't mean to sound totally negative or anything, but no one has left any comments and I feel you deserve some sort of truthful feedback! I love you!)

i'm pretty sure i could do a PhD instead if i wanted to. there are about a dozen English Masters here at York, but only two looked really great
