before this year i was never that keen on postgrad, but with graduation finally on the horizon, i have to seriously think about my job prospects. and yeah, as it stands, they're slim. especially considering my improbability of getting into teacher's college the first time 'round. (not to mention... i don't know WHERE i'd do teacher's college.)
the standard full-time Masters program here is only one year. so it wouldn't be a confinement in any way. and yes, i'm very in love with England, and this is the best way for me to come back. in order to immigrate, i'd need some seriously factors here pulling me in. that basically means a work visa, or the promise of a steady career here waiting. if i were to study here for another year, it's a good way to add another title to my name and sort out a proper way to stay. not to mention, York is one of the leading UK institutions for postgrads. yes competition would be tough, but if i made in, i think the expenses would be worth it.
