We all went back to our own place to get our stuff to go to the gym. When I reached the place, most of the guys were already there and had changed into their attire, even Brian. He was talking to Junsu, with Eunhyuk hovering between them. When Junsu saw me, he came over to my side immediately.

“How do you feel? Nervous?” he asked, holding my hands in his, rubbing them, hoping to give me assurance and confidence.

“Su, will you think less of me if I lose?” I asked my boyfriend.

“No, silly, I like you for who you are not because you can fight well.”

“Just shoot me next time if I do anything stupid like this again.” I said to him in jest.

“If you do anything stupid like that again, I will.” He said to me in mock seriousness, his smile escaping onto his face.

“Don’t worry, he won’t dare to hurt you too much. Aim for his left side, he’s weaker on that side.” Junsu said.

“How do you know that?” I asked my boyfriend in surprise. He doesn’t look like the sort to know taekwondo though he was dressed the part today. He was good in sports but I didn’t know he knew taekwondo as far as I know.

“So are we fighting or talking?” Brian called out to us.

“Micky. Good luck, remember left.” Junsu give me a good luck kiss on my cheek as he moved to sit down with the rest of the guy to watch the match.

I was nervous but not as nervous as the time I faced Eunhyuk as I have more to lose at that time. This time round, I didn’t have much to lose except my pride.  We faced off on the match, each eyeing the other. The guys were cheering me on but I didn’t pay much attention as the guy opposite me assessed me.

We each tested the other by trying to give each other kicks. My advantage was that I was taller so my leg is longer and I have a better reach. He on the other hand is heavier than me, giving a stronger punch to his kicks. In a flash, we were kicking at each other as hard as possible and trying to block the other attacks. I remembered Junsu’s advice on kicking him on his left; he was a bit slower on that side. However he was more skilled, pivoting away from my kicks, thus lessening the impact of my kick on his body.

It was not only a physical competition but a mental one too, each trying to find the weak point of the other. He executed an axe kick on me, owing to my quick reflexes that I somehow managed to block it, but the impact still hurts. He noticed and he started a few continuous kicks on me, I could only blocked them as much as possible, giving me no time to mount my own attack on him.

He managed to hit me with the last kick to my side. I nearly fell from the impact, rolling away from his next attack. I was getting tired from all the dodging and blocking. I need to get in a few kicks of my own to win. I pulled myself together and concentrated on getting my kicks to make an impact. I saw my chance and aimed a spin kick on him but he was too skilled for me, deflecting it and again kicking me on my side. This time I fell down onto the mat.

“Stop. That’s enough. You’ve won.” Junsu said to Brian who had moved towards me aiming for another kick. Junsu moved to help me off the mat.

“Micky, are you all right?” Junsu asked in concern. The rest of the guys also crowding around as Junsu moved to check my injuries, I have a nasty bruise on my side, and I winced in pain when he touched it.

“That’s it. You’ve made me angry.” Junsu said to Brian.

“You should have taken on someone your own size and not bully the weak.” Junsu said as he moved onto the mat to fight it out with Brian.

“Wait, Junsu. No.” I cried out, scared for my boyfriend.

“Wow, the show is really starting now.” Said an excited Yunho.

“Sit back and you might learn a few tricks.” Eunhyuk said to me, while Changmin tends to the injured me.

“Aren’t you going to stop them, what if Junsu get hurt?” I said. The guys just looked at me and shake their heads.

“Don’t worry about Junsu hyung, he can take care of himself, better than you can anyway. Brian hyung won’t hurt him as much.” Changmin said.

“He’s an idiot of a boyfriend, not knowing what his boyfriend is capable of.” Eunhyuk said.

I watched the match between Junsu and Brian nervously. The two guys obviously fought before, often anticipating each other moves, each not getting the upper hand on each other. However if you look closely and carefully, Brian seems to be the one who was doing most of the defending while Junsu did the attacking, kicking Brian on his left side a few times. Changmin was right when he said that Brian won’t hurt Junsu as much since he doesn’t seem to be putting much strength into the kicks he give Junsu.

“Good one. Junsu.” Yunho shouted.

“Changmin, is Junsu very skilled in taekwondo?” I asked the boy who has his eyes fixed on the match.

“Yes. He’s a 5th dan black belt.” Oh my god, he’s two levels higher than me. Why didn’t I know that?

“I never knew? He never told me that.” I said in surprise.

“Junsu hyung doesn’t like to tell people about it.” He turned to look at me, not really surprised by my reaction.

“Why? It’s not like something he should be ashamed of. He should be proud instead.” He shrugged his shoulders in response to that.

“His parents send him to learn it when he was young, you know the whole thing about kidnapping, it was an issue with their family being so rich. He just doesn’t like to talk about it that much.”

“Why did you think I took up taekwondo?” Eunhyuk asked. “So that I won’t lose out to him though I still get my ass whipped by him, but I’m getting my next dan soon, you’ll just wait.”

“He’s the best among us actually, though you can’t really tell just by looking at us.” Changmin said.

“Why did you think we were scared of him last time?” Eunhyuk asked again. Changmin nodded.

“I heard that.” Junsu shouted from where he was, eyes still focused on his opponent.

“We were kidding.” Both boys said.

“You better be, or you will be the next one up against me.” Junsu said.

“Is he even better than Yunho?” I asked since I had fought with the man before.

“Well, it’s hard to say between the two of us. It’s usually a 50-50 chance of us winning the each other. The good thing is that he seemed to have recovered fully from his illness from before.” Yunho said. Just then we heard a thud and we turned to see Brian lying down on the mat with Junsu standing over him.

“Wow, Su, good one.” Eunhyuk said as he got up to hug his friend.

“Hyung, good fight, you know we were only teasing just now.” Changmin said, passing Junsu a towel to wipe his perspiration.

“You’re not getting off that lightly.”

“Junsu, why didn’t you tell me you were skilled in taekwondo too?” I asked.

“You never asked?” I don’t think it’s something that you go around telling people about anyway. It’s not like it would come up in a normal conversation.” Junsu explained, though I was still not happy I was the only one who doesn’t know. In some sense, it was quite true what Eunhyuk had said about me. There were a lot of things I didn’t know about Junsu. We didn’t get to spend as much time as I would wished to get to know each other better, often with the other guys interrupting any moments between us.

“But still.” I whined.

“Micky, you were the one who built up this fantasy in your mind just by looking at me and thinking that I‘m the one who need to be protected by you. Sorry to burst that bubble of yours, but I can take care of myself. I have been doing so before I met you.” Junsu said. I think I really have to reassess my relationship with him.

“So what else have you kept from me?”

“Micky, what do you want me to say? There are so many thing that you don’t know. Where do I even start?”

“So you still have things you are keeping from me?” I asked him.

“Hmph. I play the piano in my spare time?” Junsu said, teasing me.

“Junsu!”

“What?”

“Micky, are you saying that you have been completely honest with me since we started?” Junsu suddenly turned the tables on me. Oh shit, why did I even start the topic? I hoped he was not remembering the Yuri incident. Well my whole identity has been a hoax, but I can’t tell him that. I have to find something to change the topic. He must have seen the expression on my face because he laughed out loud.

“Micky, you should have seen the frightened look on your face.” Junsu laughed as he said this.

“Don’t worry, it’s ok to keep a few secrets, we still have time to slowly learn about each other, right?” Junsu give me a peck on my lips before moving away to speak to Brian. It seems all of us had forgotten him with Junsu’s win. They seem to have come to an agreement of sort since Brian left after that.

“So what did the two of you talk about?” I asked Junsu after Brian left.

“Are you jealous?”

“Yes. Please tell me.”

“I told him I’m sorry I can’t return his feelings and he asked me to take care of myself and not be hurt by you. I told him not to worry since if you hurt me I will personally kick your butt.” Junsu said, smiling at my reaction to his words.

“You do know now that I can kick your butt anytime?” Junsu teased.

“Yes. Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you, I will kicked myself if I do that.” I answered him. He was pleased with my words.

“Junsu ah. Want to have a go with me?” Yunho said, obviously excited at the prospect of a match.

“Can I send a representative instead?” Junsu asked.

“Who? If it’s that wimpy boyfriend of yours, then no.” Yunho said directly to my face, not caring if I would be upset.

“So how about my wimpy boyfriend against your pretty boyfriend?”

“No way, he’s coming anyway near Jaejoong. I will kick his ass if he dare touch a strand of Jaejoong’s hair.”

Laughter came from all the boys at what Yunho unwittingly acknowledged. “So hyung, are you admitting that Jaejoong hyung is your boyfriend?” Changmin the cheeky one asked.

“So you want to have a go with me?” Yunho said to Changmin even though he was blushing.

“No thanks, I still want to live.” Changmin said as he hides behind Jaejoong, pushing the boy into Yunho. Yunho caught the boy in his arms and the two of them had a moment, looking into each other’s eyes totally forgetting about the rest of us, until Changmin snorted. The Jaeho couple blushed causing the rest of us to laugh out loud.

Note: Just a continuation of chapter 7 and a fluff before the real action begins next chapter. Last chance for guesses. How many agents are there and who is it? Place your bets now.

Oh, yeah, a belated birthday present for Yoochun. All tied up for him. LOL
