We certainly don't choose where we are born and the circumstances that we are often thrust into.

Would love to attend the exhibit myself if not for Esta.

Anyway, I was breastfeeding Esta one afternoon and listening to a BBC interview about women caught up in the conflict in Somalia. Many have been raped, even in front of their kids and have been forced to flee their homes due to violence.

And here I am, in the comfort of my home, surrounded by modern amenities, high hygiene standards and never worrying about the where food for the next meal will come.

It reminded me not to take for granted all that I have and to be a faithful steward of all that God has given me.
