Why it rains
Maybe this is just me, but I think it always rains whenever it's Good Friday. And in the afternoon some more. Today is Maundy Thursday, and the heavens have already opened, pelting us with a very noisy, heavy thunderstorm.

Abercrombie vs Apple Crumble
The little one has quite an advanced vocabulary for her age, but that doesn't mean she doesn't make faux pas once in a while.
Last friday, I let her 'help' me bake a nice dessert for the LJ gang who were coming over for some post-dinner get-together. The dessert was Apple Crumble. OK. New word registered in head.
