The gang is called on to investigate some weird energy readings originating from some random place. When they get there, they find a boy in green tights with a gold G on his chest. It's Richard Grayson from another dimension- a dimension where his parents never died and he's part of the Flying Graysons at Haley's Circus! Of course, they have to find a way to get him back home and in the meantime, he's sticking around Mount Justice, regalling everyone with tales of the circus (he's used to being in the spotlight). Cue Robin trying not to freak out and control his emotions so no one knows that he and Richard Grayson are one in the same.
Bonus if that team doesn't make the connection but Alt!Dick does (his mom always has called him her 'little robin', after all).

For a minute I thought Dick was going to say Batman died or something (due to there being no robin or some such) and I was going to get super depressed for Robin hearing the news from a non-caring Dick.
I secretly wish Wally knew a little more about his bro in your verse! Poor RObin! SO ALONE! (God I love it though!)
I secretly like Artemis and Dick together too.

Poor Robin, AU Dick's presence must really be painful for him. Seeing AU!Dick all happy, a performer and who still has his parents. Can't wait for more update

I adore the Artemis point of view. Artemis/Dick friendship is my latest favorite thing to see in stories, though Babs and Wally are still fighting for number one to be paired with Dick in my books. I'd like to see the Artemis and Dick/Robin interaction kept up. Artemis is smarter than most people give her credit for, and being raised by a supervillain would make her more observant than everyone else except Robin.
I do think you've downplayed Wally and Robin's interaction, though. Wally can be quite observant when it comes to Robin, and we're not really seeing that here. Plenty of Wally and Dick interaction, but too little of Wally and Robin, when Robin is Wally's best friend, and he doesn't know who Dick is.
Other than that, Dick riding Superboy's shoulder was sooooooo cute! I nearly squealed! And the pacing of the story is excellent.
Keep it up! Can't wait for more. Did I mention I love the ( ... )
