The gang is called on to investigate some weird energy readings originating from some random place. When they get there, they find a boy in green tights with a gold G on his chest. It's Richard Grayson from another dimension- a dimension where his parents never died and he's part of the Flying Graysons at Haley's Circus! Of course, they have to find a way to get him back home and in the meantime, he's sticking around Mount Justice, regalling everyone with tales of the circus (he's used to being in the spotlight). Cue Robin trying not to freak out and control his emotions so no one knows that he and Richard Grayson are one in the same.
Bonus if that team doesn't make the connection but Alt!Dick does (his mom always has called him her 'little robin', after all).

How long until someone figures it out, though? Eagerly awaiting part 8.

I like the comparison - it shows that, though Robin acts quite cheerful, his parents deaths did change him..."shatter" him. I also like that silent communication thing Robin and Batsy have going on.
Can't wait for the next part! :D

Poor Robin, it must be so hard for him seeing this other version of himself. Really loving this story!!

Can't wait to see how Earth-16!Dick reacts to Alt!Dick's question. :D

Loved Earth-16!Dick punching Alt!Dick. Loved Wally figuring it out, and loved his reaction to figuring out who Batman was. Loved how Robin broke down because he was supposed to be happy, and I loved Wally's confession that his home life is not the greatest. I also love Kaldur asking Dick if he was ok, lovely bit of dramatic irony there.
The one thing, if I had to nitpick, is that I'm not sure how true it rings that Wally would just leave. At least, not without some indication that Robin wanted to be alone.
But yeah, clearly you are the genius author-anon writing this beautiful fic, and I am the humble reader lucky enough to be along for the ride. Thanks for this gorgeous piece. As always, looking forward to the next bit

Though in my defense, it's late.
