I love the characters here. Love them. How they are so genuine and how they're all starting to heal together, slowly, yes, but still healing. The sweetest child Sehun, broken single dad Yifan, soft-hearted little Tao (with Candy~), young puppy-like Jongin... Sehun's definitely my favorite here though. He's so precious. <3 The way he cares for everyone, how he's wise beyond his years and tries so hard for others. And the narration! The narration is wonderful. I don't even know how to explain it, but I really, really like it. It makes everything come alive in a way that it's almost like I'm watching a film at back of my mind

this is absolutely beautiful. father & son krishun fics are always very light and fun but I love how this fic explores all sorts of emotions and the subtle kriskai IS LOVE!!!!!!!!!!

kid!sehun is such an angel in this fic. his love for his dad!kris is so pure & touching ;_; his mentality is no joke too; like how he takes his dad's feelings for consideration and felt that he should be strong for his dad. I love their dynamics so much and omg whenever Kris cries whenever sehun is around breaks my heart ;_; can't wait for you to crosspost! :D

This touched me. A slice of life? It felt so real. Probably because somewhere out there, someone is going through this too. The characters... I have no words to explain how they made me feel. I felt so sad for Kris. But Sehun is so very young and very strong. He is a precious child with a big heart. And Jongin too. I hope he is able to smile and be happy. I hope they will all be happy.

about sehun's character...i think you captured the nature and wholesomeness of children. he is so pure and naive yet quite despite his age. you know that idea that children's thoughts are intentional and pure? they say things on their mind and do things in regards to it. they don't dance around issues, they address it directly. honestly, i am floored and impressed by him. his feelings and actions are so thoughtful and full of love. he is so observant of his surroundings and the people around him.
