Man, this place has really died down.  Hardly anybody on my friends list posts anything anymore.  I suppose everybody has either moved to Facebook or just killed themselves.  That's a joke, son.

On May 18th and 19th the Butte County Supervisors will have a meeting.  At that meeting they will vote on how much money to give to the Butte County Library.

Right now the library has already lost Sunday and evening hours, the reference desk, new book purchases and most of the children's story times (a favorite of my niece).

My parents have been up at my sister's house for the past week or so.  While they were there my sister had some work done on the furnace in the house, which hasn't been working right.

Two guys showed up to do the work.

My 3 year old niece said to my mother  "Oma, at night I don't like my bed but in the morning I do like it."

And I have to agree with her.

I hate going to bed these days.  I stay up late every night it seems, even when I'm tired.

And in the morning I do love my bed.
